It now is 12 days since Yvonne and
I were deposed unceremonially from our steeds. My doctor said that I
have to use a immobilizing band to keep my right upper arm against my
torso. This is in addition to the sling. The band stays on for two
weeks. That means just two more days with it. I can tell that the
time frame is about right, because it is getting to be much easier to
move the arm back and forth, but not to raise it.
I got a very small keyboard that I
can put on my lap, and type on without having to move my right arm at
all. This means I don't have to use the voice recognition software.
This enables me to experiment with more sophisticated web formatting.
Not that I really know anything about HTML, but I'm learning to fake
it. After all, it eventually will be a Universal language. All
other languages will fall into disuse.
Today, some of my coworkers got
together and prepared a take-home dinner for us. Yvonne was moved by
this. She said, “that's so sweet of
them.” We had salmon and
pie.
Some of
you have had trouble getting to my other blog. This link works.
